O' Christmas Tree

PhotobucketFor the past couple of years we have been getting our Christmas tree in Greenfield from a family who has a tree farm on their property. It is a hike from where we live but its worth the experience for the kids. They have hot homemade cider and free cookies and popcorn. Anything free in this day in age is a deal for me! We invited our friends Anthony and Nichelle and their kids to come. The more the better. It was a cold day where your bones hurt in your hands and face, okay that maybe a little overdone but it was COLD!Photobucket The kids didn't seem to mind it only Addison kept giving me her hands like whats wrong with them. There is a tractor there that you can ride on up to the tree farm. It was muddy on the ground and wet from the rain we had days previous. There was lots and lots of trees to pick from. I kinda joked about how my mom always had to find the perfect tree and everyone else would be done and she'd be walking around still saying "well maybe this one". I found a tree at first but walked away from it, only to figure out later that I really liked that one. So I walked around and around trying to find that one tree. Its like trying to find a needle in a hay stack!Photobucket I felt like my mom. Here I was making fun of her but here I am doing what she did every year. The Wirth's found their tree pretty fast. They have a small area where they could fit the tree so they kept the tree small. Photobucket
The kids had fun especially Alexa and Isaac. It was nice for them to run around the field and play hide and seek.PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

We all had a great day and a great memory forever...
